The Scorpion Aspirating Head is a micro smoke generator for permanent installation behind or adjacent or connected to a sampling point on an ASD pipe run. Connected by cable to the Scorpion Access Point, the Aspirating Head is only powered when the Controller is connected to the system by the maintenance engineer. Configuration data is uploaded from the Controller to the Scorpion Aspirating Head on first use, with test data recorded within the head as well as being downloaded to the Scorpion controller.
Scorpion Aspirating Heads feature a sealed for life smoke generator suitable for over 400 tests. Suitable for both new or retrofit installation. Of particular note is the Scorpion particulate which has an effective lifetime of at least 120 seconds and can travel at least 100 metres.
